The new cellar and the fifth generation

With the turn of the century, work began on the new underground cellar, dug into the rock, under the Castelletto vineyards.

Here, a magnificent source of water was discovered by pure chance. It has been preserved and made open to visitors.

Finally, in 2012 the new tasting room was completed: it offers a spectacular view of the heart of Barolo.

The winery is now looking at the fifth generation of the Manzone family: there’s Mauro, hailing from the Alba wine school, and also Mirella, a graduate in food science and technology.
